Views by Local Artists
Local artists have found inspiration in the County's parks.
Wynn Yarrow
Wynn Yarrow visited Chemung County parks Harris Hill and Park Station during 2019 to photograph and sketch the landscape. She did further work in her studio. She produced two handbound books, A Blessing of Trees and Water and Wood, to be housed in the collections of county libraries. Images from her time with trees are shown here.
Wynn Yarrow is an Elmira artist focusing on the landscape. She is the ongoing artist in resident for The Rockwell Museum, Corning, NY.
This project is made possible in part with public funds from NYSCA's Decentralization Program, administered regionally by The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes.
