Breesport Community Park
205 North Chemung Rd., Breesport
This park has a pavilion, a baseball field, a
basketball court, and a tennis court.
Gardner Road Park
345 Gardner Rd., Horseheads
There are two tennis courts, a basketball court
and two youth league-sized softball fields at this
park. It is home to the Horseheads Girls Softball
program.
Hazlett Park
2445 Corning Rd., Horseheads
This park has a playground, basketball and tennis courts, and a multi-purpose field.
Holding Point Recreation Complex
190 Wygant Rd., Horseheads
There are four little league fields, four softball fields, one adult baseball field, a walking path, a playground, a pavilion, a BMX track, and multiple youth soccer fields at this 33-acre park.
Linear Park
Brickyard Lane, Horseheads
This park has a half-mile walking and running path with multiple benches and flowerbeds.
Maple Grove
811 West Broad St., Horseheads
This 7 ½-acre park has a field that can be used for football, soccer, and lacrosse.
Meadowbrook Parkway East Park
303 Meadowbrook Parkway East, Horseheads
This park has a multi-purpose field.
Memorial Park
2285 Grand Central Avenue, Horseheads
This pocket park has been set aside to remember veterans of past wars. Memorial Park is the Villages reminder that many Horseheads residents have served in the Armed Forces to protect our freedom. Benches are present to sit and meditate by the memorial.
Mill Street Park
169 East Mill St., Horseheads
The Village Baseball Field at Mill Street has adult baseball dimensions and lights. The field is home to the Horseheads Babe Ruth Program.
Mill Street Pond
326 East Mill St., Horseheads
The Chemung County Sportsmen’s Federation, Horseheads American Legion, Horseheads Police Benevolent Association, private individuals, and the Horseheads Youth Bureau stock this pond with trout. The Village has restricted fishing to youth ages 15 and under, and agencies or organizations representing disabled or handicapped persons. Such organizations must receive a permit from the Village for their group. There is a picnic area with a pavilion and charcoal grill near the pond.
Sullivan Park
403-435 Thorne St., Horseheads
This dog-friendly park has multiple picnic pavilions with charcoal grills, a playground, three tennis courts, four softball fields, a basketball court, and a walking/running path. It also has a public pool and a concession stand that are open during the summer.

Teal Park and Band Stand
502 South Main St., Horseheads
Teal Park is the home of the “Zim Bandstand” which was designed by cartoonist and Horseheads resident Eugene “Zim” Zimmerman. Free concerts are held at the park each Thursday throughout the summer.
Town Hall Fields
150 Wygant Rd., Horseheads
This is a multi-use area for soccer and lacrosse.
Sullivanville Dam

A forested hiking trail offers access to a 20-acre lake owned by Chemung County.
